NOTICE/WARNING:

SOLitude Lake Management will be on-site at Oldham, Furnace and Hobomock Ponds to conduct treatments in order to improve water quality and control the growth of nuisance plants and algae. Oldham and Furnace Ponds will be treated with alum (to improve water quality. Hobomock will be treated with an herbicide to control nuisance aquatic vegetation.

Treatment dates:

• Oldham – Wednesday, July 8
• Furnace – Thursday, July 9
• Hobomock – Thursday, July 9

Water use restrictions will begin the first day of treatment and end July 10.

Restricted activities during treatment:

• boating
• fishing
• swimming
• livestock watering
• irrigation
• drinking
• cooking
