NOTICE/WARNING

SOLitude Lake Management will be on-site at Furnace and Hobomock Ponds in Pembroke on June 12th, 2026, to conduct a treatment using herbicides, in order to control the growth of nuisance plants and algae.

This treatment will be conducted in accordance with the Order of Conditions issued by the Conservation Commission and MassDEP License to Apply Chemicals for Control of Nuisance Aquatic Vegetation.

Following the treatment, the use of water from the pond will be restricted as follows:

• Boating, Fishing and Swimming – until 06/13/2026
• Livestock Watering – until 06/15/2026
• Drinking and Cooking – until 06/17/2026
• Irrigation – until 06/18/2026

Signs will be posted through June 18.
